The Center of Achievement, founded in March 1990 by Gertrude H. Peele, Incorporated 2008 under Chapter 617.0501 of Florida Statues, 501©(3).

A LITTLE HISTORY……

The Center of Achievement, Inc. is a multi-purpose community resource and planning facility. The National Council of Negro Women’s Child Watch Partnership of Jacksonville created, organized and implemented preventative programs for children in collaboration with other public, private and volunteer sectors of Northeast Florida and the Children’s Defense Fund, Washington, DC.

The facility served as the operating location for the Jacksonville Section of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. and Associate Men until 2013. Over the years, many community initiatives/projects have been initiated by volunteers of many Community serving organizations from within The Center of Achievement, Inc.
